Our Alumni are at the heart of our existence. Alumni are involved in our programs, our planning, our fundraising and most importantly our volunteering roles with our current youth and adults. Many of our Alumni volunteer to mentor and tutor our residents, giving them every opportunity to be successful for tomorrow.
In June, the Alumni Association hosts an annual Homecoming event. The 2010 gathering is scheduled for June 25-27. We hope that everyone will save the date now and plan to attend. Friday is always fun with golf and dinner. Saturday is a day full of festivities. We will have fun for the entire family including kids games, swimming, the annual softball game, our group picture, the business meeting and a huge dinner with live auction. We will worship together on Sunday and have a nice lunch as well. The weekend is as active as you want to make it and can also be a relaxing day in the shade. Please feel free to come and put your feet up. There is always great fellowship, picture viewings and tons of good ole stories. Bring the family and share in the memories. Help us all remember the past as well as help shape the future for those in need.
We are blessed to have a core group of Alumni serve as Officers for our Alumni Association. This Association works very hard with Homecoming, coordinating the Alumni directory,and communicating the message of our homes to Alumni who are spread throughout the country.
